Our Story:
A Journey of Hope

Breaking the cycle of poverty one kid at a time.

Discover the story behind.

The Varcas Bright Futures Foudation.

Our journey began in 2013 during a family safari in Nairobi, Kenya, where we first visited an orphanage called Dream Children’s Home. Home to about 50 children at that time, most of whom had been abandoned and since then this place changed us forever. After spending only half a day with the kids, we left with a profound realization: we needed to help in any way we could.

Over the next twelve years, we supported the orphanage by providing beds, cooking pans, textbooks, and other essential resources. Yet, as time went on, we knew more was needed. In 2025, we returned to Dream Children’s Home and were met with a heartbreaking change, the number of children had grown to more than 140. During our three day stay, we listened closely, learned deeply, and witnessed firsthand the overwhelming challenger these children confront every single day, leaving us more determined than ever to take action.

This time, we saw the need beyond the orphanage walls. Many teenagers who graduate from high school are required to leave the orphanage, even though they have nowhere else to go.

We felt a calling to create something more sustainable for these young adults. That is why we established a program dedicated to empowering youth as they transition into independence; guided by a vision of a world where every child has equal access to education, opportunity, and a brighter future.

With every initiative, every workshop, and every partnership, we strive to break the cycle of poverty and open pathways for young minds to reach their full potential. Join us as we work together toward a brighter tomorrow, because every child deserves a chance to shine.

Dream Children’s Home

We first came across this beautiful orphanage in 2013, when we met its Director, Rachel W. Gichia, an extraordinary individual who has dedicated her life to this noble cause. From the very beginning, Director Rachel welcomed our family with open arms, and it quickly became clear that we were called to help Dream Children’s Home make a lasting difference.
